The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is meant to document data according to the Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulation (ESPR), which follows the full life cycle of a product – from manufacturing and the matrix of materials to information whether a product can be repaired or is recyclable – and will be implemented as an EU-wide instrument from 2027.
